“To play without passion is inexcusable!”

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Sherry Crawley

Involved in music since childhood, Sherry Crawley began piano lessons at age seven.  Her study of piano, organ, keyboard and voice continued through her adult years.   She continues her piano teaching education through workshops and conferences.

Professional performing experience includes church organist and pianist, as well as a children’s choir director.
She has also been an accompanist and director for school groups, a vocal choir member, soloist and hand bell participant.

Sherry has over 20 years experience teaching piano and voice, in private and group settings, to children and adults.

Teaching piano became her profession as her children grew into adulthood.  She will tell you that being a piano teacher is "a job I love so much that I have never considered it work.  Time spent with my students exploring the world of music and developing their expression of it through the piano is a joy and a privilege."
